Awesome Verse

2 Corinthians 3:17-

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

That verse just hit me as I was reading. This passage talks about how when Moses received the Law from God, the Lord's glory was so bright that Moses' face was glowing when he came off the mountain. Then it says how much more glorious, then, is the glory of that which brings righteousness (Christ). It's a really cool analogy to think about.

I'm leaving for Honduras in 3 days!! I'm so excited about the trip. I can't wait to meet the people there and experience God in new ways.

Kristen (girlfriend) gets back from the Dominican on Friday. Corey heads to Tampa on Sunday. Mom and Dad get a week with Kristen (sister) next week, then the following week they get a week with me (& Kristen (girlfriend most likely)). Maybe they will see Corey before the summer, but that's up in the air.

I've got to finish a physical chemistry lab before all this fun stuff starts.

Until next time, stay classy 2 Corinthians 3.

March 13

It's been nearly a month. It might be another month before I post again. Oh well- there's probably not many followers anyway.

It's been a solid month though. School is still moving along and this time in one week I will be in Honduras! I'm so excited about the trip and getting to meet the people there. Kristen (girlfriend) is in the Dominican Republic right now. She had so many stories last year that were awesome. Those stories were very influential in me signing up for the Honduras trip this spring.

I've just got one biochemistry test and one physical chemistry assignment standing between me and spring break. It should be a good week, hopefully not too stressful. Definitely missing Kristen while she's gone though. I won't talk to her really until I get back from Honduras in two weeks. Kinda crazy.

Corey and I worked Room in the Inn at West Jackson again Friday night. It was a great time. We had some good conversation and played cards and it was just awesome. I think we're going to help out again this Friday before our trips.

Mom and Dad came over this weekend to Jackson. It was really cool to have them here. It was great for them to meet the people who have adopted Corey and I at West Jackson too. Those people have really shown me what the body of Christ is this semester. The way they care for us is amazing. It's as if we were one of their own children. I wish I would have gotten to know them better before this point, but the time I have left at Union will be better because of my friendships with those people. So thank you, if you're reading this.

Until next time, stay classy biochemistry...
